Hi everyone!! I hope you're having a wonderful day. I spent the day and evening at an all-day crop yesterday and then walked through a huge leash-free forest with my husband and puppy this afternoon. We had some pasta for lunch and then the three of us had delicious long naps. That's what fall days are for!!!
I used the Jolly Holidays Cricut cartridge to create the ornament and banner my card for today. The papers and lettering I used are from the Jingle collection pack by Lily Bee Design. The card stock for my card base is Crumb Cake from Stampin' Up!
I hope it inspires you to have a look at the various cartridges or designs available for your die-cutting machine.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. The next card will be posted by Shelley Bordeleau and the theme will be Christmas at Home. Be sure to check back tomorrow to see what she has created for you.
Also...check back tomorrow, the NEW CHALLENGE and prize package will be announced for November!

Santa Claus Card w/ Digi Stamp
This is a wonderfully fun roly poly Santa. This card uses a digital cutter file and a digital stamp file. I love his fun expression and the blue blue eyes. The whimsical paper in black and white helps the Santa Pop Out from the page and really look like his floating on top of the black and white back ground. The final details for this project are on my blog at Visual Designs by Chris. I hope you have a wonderful day and find some time this weekend to create and craft. Would love to see what you create!
Enjoy!
Chris
Enjoy!

Dasher
Welcome to all visitors! We are in the final days of our Christmas and Animals theme. Our designers have been busy creating a wide range of cards to give you inspiration. I chose to use a reindeer set from Stampin Up! called Dasher. I hope you enjoy it!
I created the background using a sponging technique on Stampin Up!'s Shimmer Cardstock. It has a sheen to it that allows the sponge to smear the ink evenly. Much easier than you might think. I have more details on my blog, Stamping At The White House.
Now it is your turn. Join the challenge (info in the sidebar on the left). You just might win some very cool prizes!

Christmas Squirrel from Jolly Holidays
Isn't it something how animals share in our joy even at Christmas time. Thanks for joining us again at the Card a Day Blog. My name is Tina Campbell and I made a card I started from the squirrel cut from the Jolly Holidays Cricut cartridge.
I would like to introduce you to Liquid Appliqué and how this stuff can give a real nice 3D effect to your card. It's really cool to use on Christmas cards to give an effect resembling snow or the fluff on a hat. To find out more about this stuff, head over to Tina's blog at Tina's Scrap Corner and see how it's done.
Haven't the Christmas Cards been fantastic, for more inspiration, here are the designers that will be posting in the next 7 days. Check them out and see what they're up to:

My card for today is one of the cards I will be sending out to my clients this year.

Elegant Reindeer
This square card is 5-1/2" x 5-1/2" in size mainly because I wanted to have enough room for the reindeer to fit.
I originally cut the reindeer from white cardstock using a black shadow and was going to use mostly primary colours, but when I looked through the absolutely gorgeous papers in my Lost & Found Christmas 6 x 6 designer paper pad, I decided to use more muted colours. I used a Starburst Spray from Lindy's Stamp Gang on the reindeer.

Snowflake card
Hello everybody. I hope you are getting into the Christmas spirit. I certainly am and I am announcing a huge giveaway today. See the end of my post for full details!!
Also, I asked all of our designers to submit bios to me and I have included them on the Designers' Bios page of this blog.
My card this time around was very simple to make, but I feel it looks quite elegant and wintery. I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder with Coredinations white wash card stock and sanded after embossing to bring out the dark blue colour. I then inked around the edges with Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink using a foam applicator to blend the colour in.
Supplies
Cardstock: Coredinations white wash and blue from my stash
Stamps: From my stash
Ink: Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink and Stampin' Up! Night of Navy Craft
Die cuts: Snowflake from my stash
Adhesive: ATG
Embossing powder: American Crafts Zing! Clear
Bling from my stash

Christmas - Snow Theme
Today my card is for the theme 'Snow' and when I think of snow I picture mittens, boots, brrr cold, and hot chocolate. My card makes me think of cold winter nights, snow on the ground, and time to get the mittens on to go outside and play.

"Joy" Christmas Card
Hello! It's Cindy from The Creative Pointe back with you again.
Living "Up In Northern Michigan" we have lots of snow. In fact, where I live is considered the "snow belt" of the state! I do love how the snow glitters and glistens... it makes Christmas time just sparkle. That's the feeling I wanted to invoke when I created this card, one of a set of three with a snowflake theme:
I tried out a few of the embossing techniques I learned in the recent "Inspiration Showcase Card Class" taught by Jennifer McGuire.
Supplies:
Cardstock, Glossy Paper, Embossing Folders, Distress Inks, Ribbon, Die Cut Snowflake, Pearl Acrylic Paint, Liquid Pearls, Stamp Sets, Punch, Adhesives
I hope you'll check out my BLOG for all the details on this card.
Keep checking my blog as I will be showing how I made the other cards in this snowflake card collection over the next few days.
Don't forget that we have a new challenge this month with new prizes up for grabs. It's all Christmas, it's all good, but you have to play to win!! Click on the challenge button above to join the fun.

Christmas Angel
Gotta love this time of the year in the midwest. The temperatures have cooled from the oppressive heat of summer, the leaves are beginning to turn and the sky is the most wonderful brilliant shade of blue. We are off to a great start with our Christmas cards here on CADB. Today's card comes from Christine Patton. It features a sweet Christmas angel bringing a message of peace.
Visit Creative Genie-ous to see how this pretty card was put together.
Don't forget, we have a new challenge this month with new prizes up for grabs. It's all Christmas, it's all good, but you have to play to win!! Click on the challenge button above to join the fun.

Christmas Card a Day
Today's card is my unconventional Christmas colors.
Hi, I am Shirley Ross and this is my first Christmas card offering for October Christmas Card a Day blog.
Hi, I am Shirley Ross and this is my first Christmas card offering for October Christmas Card a Day blog.
I love the idea of a full month of Christmas inspiration.
My Christmas card creation uses cool blues and cocoa brown tones to create a down-home country feeling. Do these little Christmas stockings bring thoughts of a warm fire, roasting marshmallows and singing Christmas carols?
I certainly hope so!
You can find out all the details of this card on my blog at Mom 'n Me Scrap.
