Love and Sympathy

Hi you all and welcome, Tina from Tina's Scrap Corner with you today.
I did these for a swap group I'm in so I didn't have enough paper for one type of card so I did 2 versions of the card. For more details on the card you'll ave to check out my blog, but it'll be posted later on in the day,
Stop back tomorrow and also we'd love to have you join in the challenge also, best to have the cards on hand rather than to have to do them the day it's needed :)

With Sympathy

April 1st already! And a new theme and month of challenges! The first theme this month is “Sympathy”… one of the hardest themes for me to make (I even hate purchasing sympathy cards!)… probably because of the emotion involved.  I wanted to make a simple, elegant card front, but because my stuff is still packed, you will just be able to see it digitally   Made in my silhouette studio, with two files I purchased through the software, and colored in the way I thought I'd choose papers (textured background, linen type tag)… just an idea of how elegant and simplicity can go a long way to making a nice card… hope it inspires you to keep it simple too!

With Heartfelt Sympathy

Hi and welcome to the start of a new theme this week: Embossed (Wet or Dry). Embossing in any form can make a card just a bit more of a special card, it can be just the slightest touch that can send that card to the next level.
I really need to use it more in my card-making, missing out on many opportunities to use it. To find out more about the card I made you'll need to stop over to my blog at Tina's Scrap Corner
Stop by tomorrow and see what Jill has done with this theme....

Angel Dog

Good Morning I get to finish off your choice week with a card I recently did for a swap.
Have you ever been in a position of needing a sympathy card for friend's pet? That was the theme for the month of July on the Cricut Card Exchange FB Group. I pondered for a while on this, also did a goggle search to see what others have done to get inspiration for this project. Then it hit me:
This is the card I made. A sweet one for a friend that lost their family dog.
To get more details on how this card was made you'll have to jump over to my blog at Tina's Scrap Corner

Shadow Inked Sympathy Card

.
Greetings from Michigan!  It's Cindy, your card designer for today.  No one likes having to send out a sympathy card but they truly can bring comfort to a grieving person.  And since the need for these can be unexpected, it's always good to have a quick and easy--yet elegant--technique up your sleeve.  I have all the details on that technique and this card over on my blog, THE CREATIVE POINTE.

Happy Thoughts

Good Morning Everyone!

This morning I am posting a Sympathy card for you.  It may not be as traditional as you might expect but I really like it.  Remember that Sympathy cards aren't just sent for the loss of a loved one.  They can be for the loss of a job, an opportunity, etc.

I was inspired by a card I saw in an online class I took through Online Card Classes.  This was a great class that really gave me a lot of ideas.

Here for you, always

Hi, Shelley Bordeleau here with more of an empathy card…. I know someone who is facing the big C.  - My heart just goes out to their family. I made a large card so their friends could all sign their support for the family, and say that we’re there for them always. For more details, visit my blog at Garden’s Crafts ‘n More.
