Thanks for helping me make the grade!

Just a simple teacher appreciation card, using 4 files from my Silhouette Studio…

4 school borders, Flower shape, overall sam, and sunbonnet sue print

The font I used for the phrase was “Crazy Girlz Blond BTN”

I was originally just going to do the 4 school borders on a linen background, with a sentiment… but saw the overall sam and sunbonnet sue print and cuts, and had to include them too! Hope you like it!

New Beginnings is our theme this week. Hi, it is Shirley Ross from Mom 'n Me Scrap here today to share a little creation. I asked some of my friends what New Beginnings brought to mind and the ideas were wonderful. The New Beginnings I finally picked was Spring. It is so beautiful how Spring brings new beginnings for flowers and birds and a fresh new start to life. So my card uses the idea of April showers bringing May flowers - a new beginning.
I hope you enjoyed my little creation and please hop on over to Mom 'n Me Scrap to see more about this card.

For a New Home

Just another quick idea of what you can do for a quick card… A border, a few leaves and flowers… and a sentiment that says it all… “There is no place like home”!

no place like home

2 digital files from Silhouette Studio used:

nature rectangle frame

there's no place like home

If I had time, I would have print and cut the nature rectangle frame and put it on top of an embossed background, and did the phrase with a mat frame (to make it easier to adhere), and embellished the bottom right corner with a few flowers….

What ideas do you have for something new?
