Elegant Reindeer

This square card is 5-1/2" x 5-1/2" in size mainly because I wanted to have enough room for the reindeer to fit.

I originally cut the reindeer from white cardstock using a black shadow and was going to use mostly primary colours, but when I looked through the absolutely gorgeous papers in my Lost & Found Christmas 6 x 6 designer paper pad, I decided to use more muted colours. I used a Starburst Spray from Lindy's Stamp Gang on the reindeer.

Cardstock: Crumb Cake base (Stampin' Up!)
Patterned Paper: Various pieces from Lost & Found Christmas (My Mind's Eye)
Die cuts:  Reindeer from Silhouette Store
Ribbon:  from my stash
Trimmer:  Making Memories
Adhesive:  ATG and dimensionals for the reindeer
Mist: Saxifrage Olive Copper Starburst Spray (Lindy's Stamp Gang)
Electronic cutter: Silhouette SD

Please check back again tomorrow. In the meantime, visit our designers' blogs to see what they have been up to this week.

  1. Very nice card, love the colors and I think I may have some of that trim. LOL what we considered for sewing is making a come back in cardmaking who would have thought. TFS

  2. Beautiful card Karin! Love all the elements you chose.

  3. I love how you allowed the design to adapt to your stash! I do that all the time! Great looking card!
