Christmas Penguin
Hi! I don't want to think about snow and winter but..that time is coming to my neck of the woods sooner rather than later. Even though I don't like the winter weather I love a lot of the winter icons like snowmen and cute little penguins like this:
See how this little penguin came to life at Shelly's Art. I hope you enjoyed my departure from the traditonal red and green Christmas colors! Please stop by tomorrow to see what animal Cindy has to share with you.

Christmas Animals Card
Well, I’ve had a run of just using my Silhouette for making my cards… time to mix it up. Today I used some digistamps and water colour pencil crayons to make the embellishment for my card. Hope you like it! For more information on what I used, and how neat water color pencil crayons can look, check it out at Gardens Crafts ‘n’ More!

Christmas Birds and a Swivel Card
Welcome back!
I have been working on a new card format. I am not sure what to call it so for now I am calling it a swivel card. When the card is closed, you see one image in the center. The card is opened by pulling the top to the left and the bottom to the right. The center image swivels to a new image! The card can be displayed either open or closed.
Today's focus for the card a day blog is Christmas Animals. One of my favorite Christmas animals are birds. I love to feed them in the winter.
Here is the inside of the card after it has been opened
The center image comes from http://graphicsfairy.blogspot.com/. This is a great site for old images that are out of copyright. She has done a wonderful job of collecting old images, scanning them and in some cases cleaning them up.
Check out my blog to see more images of the card as it is opened.
I hope I inspired you to try something new. Don't forget to stop back tomorrow for a new card.

Reindeer Resist Card
Greetings! It's Cindy from THE CREATIVE POINTE here with a card for this week's theme: Christmas Animals. When I think of animals for Christmas, I think of reindeer. So I used this stamp that not only featured the deer, but a few birds as well. This is a simple card but I used a cool resist technique to create it. I hope you'll click over to my blog for the "how-to" as well as a tip for making the sentiment banner.
