Snowflake Keepsake Card

I love snowflakes! They remind me of cold winter mornings, clean, crisp air, and fond childhood memories. Some of my favorite ornaments on my tree are some crocheted snowflakes a neighbor gave me 20 years ago!  I’ve never attempted to crochet one until now, and thought it would make a great embellishment, er….. keepsake…. card! Please visit my blog at Garden’s Crafts ‘n More to see more about it!

Merry & Bright Ornament

Today is day two of our "Christmas Ornaments" theme!

I'm Vicki from Paper Squirrel and since I've really been on the vintage image kick lately, I thought I'd mix things up and make a more modern card with fun colors and patterns for today's featured card.  Please stop by PAPER SQUIRREL for details, supply list, and more photos.

Thanks for checking in with us today and I hope you'll be back tomorrow to see what designer Jill Figley has up her sleeve.

Home for the Holidays

Good morning everyone!

Today's theme at Card-a-Day is "Home for Christmas".  When I think of going home for Christmas when I was growing up, it was all about decorating the house for the holidays.  I just loved putting the tree up and picking out the ornaments.  That was the inspiration for my card today:

As you can see this is an A2 size card - 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"/  I did emboss part of the background and then edged it with Cranberry ink to have it "pop" off the back a little bit.  I used my Cuttlebug and the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge.

For more details about how I made this card, please visit my blog at Love 2 Create.

What are you creating for the holidays?

Lucy

Joyeux Noël

Hi everyone!! I hope you're having a wonderful day. I spent the day and evening at an all-day crop yesterday and then walked through a huge leash-free forest with my husband and puppy this afternoon. We had some pasta for lunch and then the three of us had delicious long naps. That's what fall days are for!!!

I used the Jolly Holidays Cricut cartridge to create the ornament and banner my card for today. The papers and lettering I used are from the Jingle collection pack by Lily Bee Design. The card stock for my card base is Crumb Cake from Stampin' Up!

I hope it inspires you to have a look at the various cartridges or designs available for your die-cutting machine.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. The next card will be posted by Shelley Bordeleau and the theme will be Christmas at Home. Be sure to check back tomorrow to see what she has created for you.

Also...check back tomorrow, the NEW CHALLENGE and prize package will be announced for November!

Ornamental Joy

Hi everyone, Vicki Schram here, bringing you another Ornament-themed card to inspire your Christmas card-making.

Please visit me at PAPER SQUIRREL to view more photos and get all the details and supply list for this card.

Santa Claus Card w/ Digi Stamp

This is a wonderfully fun roly poly Santa. This card uses a digital cutter file and a digital stamp file. I love his fun expression and the blue blue eyes. The whimsical paper in black and white helps the Santa Pop Out from the page and really look like his floating on top of the black and white back ground. The final details for this project are on my blog at Visual Designs by Chris. I hope you have a wonderful day and find some time this weekend to create and craft. Would love to see what you create!
Enjoy!
Chris
