Home for Christmas

Good morning.....I've been absent for some time but I'm back now.  After months of working on my daughters wedding I'm so happy to be back to scrapbooking!

This week we're starting a new theme - Home for Christmas.  Christmas cards are one of my favorite cards to make - most times I like them so much when I'm finished I don't mail them out to anyone! My mantel sure looks nice though!
I've been thinking about this card for some time and am happy to finally have it done and share it with you.  For more information, please visit my blog.  Come back tomorrow to see what Shelley has created!

My little turkey is delivering one of my favorite desserts..pumpkin pie!  To see how this gobbler came to life please check out my blog at Shelly's Art.  Please stop by tomorrow to see what Lucy Kelleher has crafted for you!

A German Christmas

German and Austrian Christmas customs have spread throughout the world wherever Christmas (Weihnachten) is celebrated. From the Christmas tree (Tannenbaum) to "Silent Night" ("Stille Nacht") and on to the Advent calendar (Adventskalender), people around the globe have adopted many traditions that began in the German-speaking world.
Hi and welcome to Card A Day Blog, I'm designer today and the week's theme is Christmas Around the World. With doing my own genealogy, I found that on my Dad's side I am quite German descent, and I have a cousin that lives in Germany and want to send him a card around that theme.

To find out more on how the cards were made you'll need to stop by my blog at Tina's Scrap Corner
Stop back tomorrow and see what Christine Patton has about this theme

Christmas Penguin

Hi!  I don't want to think about snow and winter but..that time is coming to my neck of the woods sooner rather than later.  Even though I don't like the winter weather I love a lot of the winter icons like snowmen and cute little penguins like this:

See how this little penguin came to life at Shelly's Art.  I hope you enjoyed my departure from the traditonal red and green Christmas colors!  Please stop by tomorrow to see what animal Cindy has to share with you.
