I am still in recycle mode since Christmas! Every card I’ve made since then has had some bit recycled from another card or wrapping paper, etc. This card has junk mail in it! Go to my blog entry at Garden’s Crafts ‘n’ More to find out what is recycled on this card!
I do hope you enjoy the simplicity of the card itself too!

Winter Birthday
Hi! Shelley Bordeleau here! I was having fun making a winter hued birthday card – with lots of pearl mist and greens and blues. The only vibrant color is in the Happy Birthday banner on the bottom edge of the card front.
Size of card (folded) 3 1/2 inches by 5 inches
Background : Cuttlebug Tiny Mosaic Embossing Folder, generously sprayed with pearl mists.
Embellishments: Paper snowflake salvaged from my Christmas tree. Iridescent star confetti.
Banner: Teal cardstock 1 inch by 5 inches (bottom layer). Hallmark giftwrap wrapped around another piece of cardstock to strengthen it, adhered to the bottom layer with dimensional tape. Fine line glue used to write Happy Birthday, and green glitter applied to it.
Inside, blank page for writing a personal note.

Get Well... Duct Tape Style
Hello Everyone
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look at my Get Well Card for the Card A Day Blog.
Today is a very simple but sweet Get Well Card. If you grew up the way I did, then you really get this card. My dad was a Jack of all trades and a master of none of them. He fixed everything with duct tape or Duck tape as we called it when we were kids. LOL. It makes me smile even today.
So I hope you make this card for the " Jack" in your family Or maybe just for the problems we cant really fix at all, but really want to.
Please stop by my blog http://ramblingsofatexascraftroom.blogspot.com/ for the basics of this card.
Happy Crafting in 2012

The Last Minute Thank You Card
Hi There! It's Jan from Sam & Hailey Designs, and I have a question for you:
What do you do when you need a last minute card? Turn to your stash!
I consider myself an expert on "last minute." It seems like everything I do these days is last minute. Maybe what I really am an expert in is procrastination!
Here's what I created for today's Thank You Card post here on Card-A-Day:
The card base is from a set of flip-flop cards in my stash. It only took me a few minutes to cut and put together the original card back when it went in my stash. Then it only took a few minutes to dress it up, ready for giving!
Want to read more about this card and my suggestions for interesting all-purpose cards to have in your stash? Check out my blog today!
Don't forget to enter this month's challenge! You can read about the prizes by clicking on the Challenge tab above.

Thank You, Thank You!
Welcome to a great new beginning of the new year! Hopefully it's all going well with you so far!
Each year, I have the good intentions of sending out thank you cards for various events, such as going to dinner once a month in a dinner group we are a part of, or to someone who may have done something different or special for me in the month! So I try to have a pile of thank you cards in my stash!
Here is one such card currently sitting in my stash!
I'm totally in love with this stamp! It's one of my favorites in my collection of stamps, because it's so versatile, can be used for thank yous, thinking of yous, friendship, and so much more! The stamp is from CC Designs, and is an Itzie Inkie: Flower Power! I colored the stamp in with my copic markers, and then I used the out of bounds technique that I made a video on how to do, and can be found here:
I also used a stamp by Stampin' Up for the Thank you, and I used scrap papers and ribbon for the rest of the card. For the punched border, I created that "border" design in my cutting program and cut from my KNK Maxx.
Hope you enjoy this project!
Make sure you get your projects posted into our challenge this month!! We love to see new entries and giving away that prize at the end of the month!!

Vintage Valentine Card
Hello everyone!! My name is Terri and this is my very first post for CADB. I am so happy to be a designer and hang out with your guys on this blog. Thank you so much for the opportunity to show you my Vintage Valentine Card.
I've made a video showing you how easy this cute little Valentine is to make. I used a cutout from a Dover Image Book. The book I used dates back to 1994. I know that Dover still publishes these books. If you don't have one or cant locate the Dover books. You could easily use a Cricut cut, any die cut, a stamped image or a digital image. This card is a nice simple 3D card.
Be sure and stop by tomorrow because Cindy Foster has a fantastic card for you to enjoy.
I hope you got some good info from my first video and enjoyed my first card for this blog. Thanks so much for stopping by. When you get a chance come on over to Ramblings of a Texas Craft Room(http://ramblingsofatexascraftroom.blogspot.com/) and be sure and say hello.
Thanks again

Ring in the New Year with LOVE
HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone, and welcome back to our regular daily card posts. So happy you're with us again, and, if you're new to the CADB, it's wonderful to have you join our family. We'll have lots of different themes, and, of course, new challenges and prizes for you if you'll play along with us.
It's Christine here with you today, and I'm so excited to be starting off our 2012 inspirations with a little bit of VALENTINE LOVE. I decided to break out of my comfort zone and create something that does NOT fit into the standard A2 size mold. You'll find the details of my creative process and supplies used at Creative Genie-ous . Hope you'll stop by.
Kelly George is your designer tomorrow. I can't wait to see what her special Valentine will be!
