We are so excited to launch this blog today. I can't tell you how many hours of work we have put into organizing this blog. We have a wonderful team of designers who will be sharing their beautiful creations with you, but who are also working very hard behind the scenes to inspire each other, collect and organize prizes for our challenges and so much more.
So many great ideas will be shared with you here. We hope that you decide to check our blog out often and join us as a follower.
This month, we will be sharing cards you can use for celebrations, fall, Thanksgiving, cats and bats and Halloween. On October 1 (World Card Making Day), we will launch our Christmas Card Blog Hop that will continue until mid-December. This should help you get the creative juices flowing for your own Christmas cards.
After the Christmas Card Blog Hop, we plan to continue inspiring you all year. With any luck, we will have lots 'n lots of followers, sponsors and designers so we can continue for a very long time.
We do want to offer our followers a chance to participate as well, so we challenge you to follow the weekly theme from Sunday till Monday and at the end of the month there will be random drawn prize winner (the challenges are only open to residents of the U.S. and Canada) for that month's prize which is always a surprise! Full details are provided on the Challenge page.
Now, enough of all this ... let's get to what we're here for!!!
The theme this week is Celebrations. What better way to honor celebrations than with the celebration of a new life. Today's designer, Tina Campbell has made a baby shower card with a technique of welding a card base with a Gypsy:
Complete details on how to make this card can be found on Tina's blog at
Tina's Scrap Corner
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to come back tomorrow and see another one of our fine designers at work.
Be sure to join in the fun and participate in our challenges. You can start submitting your cards for the September challenge at 10:00 a.m. on September 1, 2011 either below or on the
Challenges page.
