Card A Day - Teens

What makes a teenage girl giggle? What about color and bling, at least that is what I think. This week is teen cards and my creation is a hip, hip, hooray, birthday card.

Cool summer colors and a fabric flower added to a fabric covered card is my version of a teen girl card.

Teen Birthday Card

Hi everyone, Vicki from Paper Squirrel, here kicking off a new theme for this week...TEENS.  Yep, anything teen-related is welcome in the challenge.  I created this fun birthday card for my nephew's last teen birthday...he'll be 19 this week!

The blue, red, gold primary  color palette is youthful, yet masculine and the fun patterned paper and quotation background stamp said "teen" to me.

Designer Lucy Kelleher will be continuing the "teen" theme tomorrow, so be sure to visit again!

"Just The Ticket" Teen Birthday Card

Hello!  Cindy here from THE CREATIVE POINTE finishing up our week of "Teen" theme cards.  I felt a little at a disadvantage as I don't have any teenagers of my own, and most of the teens in my family are my nephews---which meant I couldn't fall back on my favorite "Girly" themes!  lol
But I think I found just the "ticket" for any teen with this bold and bright card.

Teen past times-sunbathing

Ever since I started using copic markers, I have had such a great time working with them, and practicing my coloring techniques.  It's a lot of fun, and has allowed me to really enjoy my stamp collection so much more! Anyway, I'm still working at filling in my copic journal book with sample projects, and here is the latest that I finally finished up!

I enjoyed putting this one together...and again, all papers were from my scrap bin!  I had used these papers about 3 years ago for a "Through the Year" swap, where 12 people each had a month, and made 12 copies of their month, we swapped them out, and ended up with a full album, double page layout for every month of the year.  My month was June, so I used the blue and yellow paper to do a "beach" type theme.  I love the nice bright colors of that paper!! RECIPE FOR CARD:

Teen Card - Surprise!

Hi there I am happy to do be a designer for Card A Day blog. I have a teen (well actually 19) and she would love this card... yes she!
The theme this week is Teen Cards. I was going to make a cool guitar card with my gypsy and my E but I thought that I would change it up abit.
It is a birthday card. I love using my embossing folders. The motorcycle is done with my cricut expression.

Hello card markers! This is Terri from Ramblings Of A Texas Craft Room. Im so thrilled to be back as the designer today. I dont have any teens anymore in my house. My kids have all grown up. However, when my daughter was 13 she would have loved this card. So I hope it inspires you to make a teen card for someone special in your life. They grow up so fast. We have to celebrate then when you can.

This week our theme is Teens. It has been awhile since I needed a teen card. My thoughts went to when I was a teen. In the day we had these big flowers that you saw everywhere. On the walls, on our cars, on our clothes. So why not on my card.
