Can you believe that it is February already!

I’m in the middle of moving, and almost all of my craft items are packed (EGADS!). So bear that thought in mind when you look at this card… and hopefully it inspires you to do something with scraps too!

Don’t you just love to get invited somewhere! An invitation can set the mood of the occasion (and the theme!).  I’m planning a BBQ this summer for my co-workers to come and enjoy an evening of fun in my backyard (if I ever get my yard work done!).  See more details of the card at Gardens Crafts 'n' More!

You are Invited - Baby Shower

An invitation for a Baby Shower!  A great way to spend an afternoon. Creating the invitations and also enjoying the baby shower. As I try to do, I am highlighting Melody and her use of one of my files. This is a file that says You Are Invited and She has made it into a wonderful happy Baby Shower invite.
I love that the invitation is tall and fits into a regular size envelope.

Save That Date Invitation Calendar Card

Welcome Back! Today's card is a Save the Date. The theme is invitations. I am currently working on a new wedding invitation that I am honored to have been asked to design. I will post that at a later date as it is still in the works.

This month I have been working on Celtic Knotwork. I have a life long fascination with knots from the time a was little.

The first card is the blog card featuring a josephine/love knot around the edges and a small calendar that is bound with padding/book compound (available from Amazon) to allow easy removal of each month.

You have to excuse the colors. What I really want to highlight is the attached calendar. You could use the actual wedding date month or as I have done include an entire calendar so that the piece can be used as a small desk calendar. Also instead of days of the month another idea would be to use the number of days until the wedding.....

You're Invited Cooking Party

I cut a bunch of these aprons for a close friend and she used them for a cookie party for her daughter's birthday. The Apron has a little pocket for more details on the invite. This Apron card could be used for lots of item. Even a request for Food Bank donations. A little pocket that can be used for lots of different items. The little girl was thrilled and her Mom was called an "over achiever" by her friends. Just awesome!

Little Boat Invite

Hello Everyone. This is Terri from   http://ramblingsofatexascraftroom.blogspot.com. I wanted to share with you today an Invite card. I made this invite using Paper Doll Dress up Cart. It is the cutest little sail boat. I saw a card similar to the one I made. I think it was on Pinterst but I couldn't locate it. I  just hate when I see something that interest me but don't Pin it , then want it later. So this isn't my original idea  but I'm not sure where the idea came from.

 Stop over at my blog and  get the direction on how I put this adorable little invite together. It is fast and easy. This invite would be great for a kids party or a party at the lake.
